I play Lauren, a very sweet and sometimes clueless girl – my first lead role in a feature-length movie called “Underachievers: Champions of Mediocrity.” The story is about a regular Joe who is battling an arch-nemesis. Very cool. We’re all crazy excited to see it into life, so get of your cute little tushes and come watch!
Hey there! If you’ve ever wondered where I go Tuesday nights (eek!) come sit in on my acting class. It’s really open and fun and there’s actors of all ages, types and levels!
So I’m the new Community Development Manager at Mixamo.com anddd we just had our in-house animation festival competition in December. Anyways, here’s the video I helped make – I did the gruesome “Happy Birthday” in blood in my baby, Photoshop.
If you’re feeling generous, rate it or leave a note!
Finally got this up off of my iPhone! Some dark and gritty footage of me and the man eating at Boiling Crab in San Jose. Almost 5+ pounds of seafood plus some sides like juicy corn.
Final analysis: Would I go back? Yep! Price? Mmm, kind of expensive, but it’s pretty fresh so I’ll let it slide Taste? Deliciously spicy – also very garlicy and a bit salty, so if you don’t like those flavors, avoid
“Goldie Chan, cast as the girlfriend Julie, came by. She was wearing a blue hoodie and belted leather boots. Chan had got the notice of the 78-hour film push in advance and was on standby; she had hooked up with Stroganoff through castingconnection.com.
“A great resource,” she told me. “There’s a bunch of projects out there, but this one looked particularly cohesive and professional, which is not always the case in the Bay Area.”
The petite, intelligent-looking Chan—”actor first, casting director second, writing third”—earned a degree in biology and then switched careers. She plugged her upcoming locally made film, Underachievers: Champions of Mediocrity (”Going live in February, it’s hilarious”), and also mentioned that she had done an industrial film for Wells Fargo. “We’re telling them how to dress appropriately and so forth. Everybody who gets a job as a bank teller there is going to see my lovely smiling face.”
Chan leaned back against the chassis of a parked car and went back to studying her script. “They’re rewriting it now,” she commented. “I mean, they’re perfecting it.”
